We were upgraded on arrival to a sea view room which was absolutely
fabulous. The room was ultra comfortable and the bathroom very large.
The hotel had the luxurious feel you would expect from this standard
with nice furniture and carpets in public areas. The pool area had
plenty of sunbeds and nice white towels and a champagne bar in the
corner.

Very good breakfast and nice rooftop bar. No swimming pool but there are two spa baths on the roof, but I did not use as the water looked a bit suspect.

Room was large and clean, A/C worked a treat, a large and clean en suite, comfortable beds and friendly staff who went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay. The food was excellent - breakfast was varied, fresh and tasty - even at the last minute! - Great location on a nice and quiet street with no traffic, right off the Av. Atlantica (30 meters). There are several things I loved about Scorial Rio Hotel:
1. The rooms were very very comfortable with the most up to date technology, beautiful bathrooms, and most importantly, very clean.
2. The Flamengo area is a great in Rio de Janeiro to stay, where you can stay at a great hotel, but not pay the price as you would in Copacabana or Ipanema. Restaurants in the area are great and its a safe area. There is also lots of shopping that can be done in Flamengo.

Great location near beach, restaurants, fast food kfc etc,
shops, drugstores and stores. Pleasant helpful staff. Gym not tops if you are into that. Pool not exactly clean but that`s same most places in Rio. Room very comfortable and clean. Bedding not tops but it`s what you pay for. Price reasonable comparatively speaking.
