  Its location is very good for the best beach and safety in Rio area. The staff is so nice that you don't have to worry about anything though they cannot speak good English. My special thanks give to the staff who found and returned the scarf my wife forgot in the restaurant. The pool area is lovely but they should put more lounges, it was only few and not enough for everyone so if you wanna sunbath you better get there early. Rooms very well desingned and big with a gorgeous view to the sea.

  We stayed at the sol Ipanema for 3 nights at the beginning of March. We chose a deluxe sea view room and it didn't disappoint. We were on the 11th floor and had fabulous views in both directions. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast every morning and had 2 evening meals in the restaurant, the second time... was die leute sagen » because the rain was too heavy to venture out! Both meals were of a good quality. Other guests commented on the small rooftop pool but quite frankly - Incredible location..very clean and nice rooms. Though I had to wait about an hour to check in but the front desk infact particularly Mr. Leonardo was kind enough to check me into a spacious sea view room though I had a mountain view booking. The lobby is quite comfortable and they serve you very well and too be true very well priced. The roof top bar & pool again are a joy giving a breathtaking view of the beach all around. To sum up a great place to stay and I would return soon..

Die Superior-Zimmer mit Meerblick waren sehr schön und sauber, das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich, der Ausblick von der Dachterrasse auf die Copacabana ist einfach toll.   From the second we walked through the door our experience was amazing. The staff were so helpful and checked us in early, we had purchased a room with executive level access (well worth it as there is an open bar and lots of snacks/food available during the day free of charge!) and were upgraded to a suite with spectacular views of Copacabana Beac... was die leute sagen » h. We had mentioned on the 'special request' of the booking form that the reason of the trip was for a special birthday. In our room we found a birthday cake and a bottle of champagne courtesy of the hotel which was a very nice gesture.
