  New Hostel only opened 5 months before so facilities are pristine condition. Stylish design, Staff wear casual but 'branded' tops. This is a classy joint in the 'cultural' area, don't be fooled by the aged outside appearance..the inside is superb. We really liked that it has pool table, bar, kitchen, barbeque area and always free toilets and showers. We´re def. Going back!

  Even though this hostel just opened a few months ago and is still finding its footing, its main asset is Barbara and Aline, the owners, both extremely nice, hands-on and helpful. - Staff were very pleasant to deal with. Location was great. Just enough edge but felt safe. Abit noisy, but we slept through.

Great location in Lapa and inbetween Cindelandia and Gloria stations. We had a double room which came with a memory foam matress which was really comfortable. There were 5 shower and toilet cubiles on our floor (abou... was die leute sagen » t as many as rooms) which meant we never had to queue to use the bathroom. It felt safe and secure. It was very clean. - Hostel is in good location , near city centro and near beach 10min walking .... There is kitchen where you can prepare some tea or some simple meal.... 24H reception and always friendly people ....really very good , I recommend it !

Very nice location and neighbourhood Santa Teresa, even though the famous tram in the guidebooks does not work now, there are buses that go all the way up and the neighbourhood was a lovely part of Rio de Janeiro to visit. It's just 15 minutes by foot from Lapa and all the nightlife. We went to Rio Scenarium and had a great time.   Christina is absolutely the perfect B&B with her santo mirante hostel. Perfect situation in Santa Theresa for French like me looking like Montmartre. She has put all her live in this small and cosy hotel. Probably the best view of Rio (pao de azucar and the bay). Really nice place.
