  The hotel is an attractive, nicely restored mansion that is close to train station ( walk in 15 minutes) and the tram or bus to get to the old city is only a block away. Take tram 4 from the train station if you do not want to walk to the hotel. Get off at the 3rd stop then walk one block. After a day of walking, my wife was not up to walking to any local restaurants so he - The reception by the staff was very friendly and informative. The building was fancy and the rooms are large. The hotel is situated in a large mansion which used to be a number of things in the past and is nicely transformed into a (mere) fifteen room accommodation. The king- sizey bed was excellent and the bathroom was nice. We also had a great time in the City of Ghent, which we had a nice walk to (about 20-30 minutes) and returned from by tram.   This B&B is the best place we've stayed in Europe! The rooms are large, airy, super clean, with an up-to-date high end decor. The host/owner is one of the busiest, most pleasant, and accommodating hosts we've met. Brussels, Ghent, and Burges are easy drives. We enjoyed our first taste of kangaroo, which was like beef, but a bit sweeter. - If you like fantastic, clean, quiet, spacious and modern facilities with a great family atmosphere, great breakfast and excellent staff, then this is the only place stay! Stayed with my wife and young son and we used the B&B as a travel jump point into Brussels, Gent and several other destinations with no regrets whatsoever. If you want a supremely massive room with Spa, ask for the top floor family room, although the normal room we stayed in was 100% perfect!
