  It is an older hotel but very well maintained and "made up", and the staff are helpful. The attached restaurant is excellent although a little expensive, and this makes for a very good night out. The sunrise is to die for, and the sound of the surf as well. - We had a ground floor unit which was very roomy & comfortable.   We are a family of 6 with 4 young children. So, we loved that the resort offered activities that allowed us to have fun, and relax, as a family e.g. fantastic playground, pools, tennis court, beach, DVD player, iPod/iPhone music stereo, to name a few. Our 3 bedroom villa felt like a luxury home-away-from-home with every homely comfort, and space, ... was die leute sagen » necessary for a large family to operate day-to-day (e.g. washing machine, dryer, dishwasher). Staying at Magenta Shores Resort exceeded our expectatio - Loved the lay-out and the proximity of everything. We had privacy but not far to walk to any of the pools or the bar/restaurant. The receptionist on a Friday night / Saturday (not sure of her name but she has 3 young sons) - she was awesome! Very friendly, helpful and a real delight to deal with.

  It was close to all the shops and resturants didnt have to use the car at all everything is in walking distance which was great ! . The room was clean and neat and good for the price ..   We generally love the Entrance as a week end trip from Sydney. The location on the water front is great and the accommodation value is very good.
