She disappeared for a minute, came back apologized, and told me she had upgraded us to a lovely room with great views. The convenience of the restaurants and shopping just below the resort was a bonus.   On arrival we found that the fully renovated penthouse apartments were overbooked but we were offered a partly refurbished penthouse suite with a complimentary bottle of wine and breakfast for two at Aromas as compensation - more than adequate as far a we were concerned.
