  everything was perfect. a bit far from town but it's sort of walkable. might be worth looking up rainbow retreat although that one's not much closer - We liked it was clean, the showers are way better than any backpacker's accommodation and the staff is really friendly and helpful.

  So friendly. my first time at a backpackers and it will certainly not be my last. staff were friendly and helpful. it was such a relaxed atmosphere that I wish I had got to stay longer. it's in a great location and has free wifi , laundry service, kitchen facilities.   staff were excellent from time i rang before even leaving my house they were more than accommodating and made the ruby for my daughter and i very enjoyable. very clean and friendly atmosphere with great facilities would defiantly stay again and highly recommend to others. - Wonderful, accommodating, kind owners.   Super near to the central station (60 seconds walk)! Easily access to any city from here! You can buy lotsa things from Paddy Market, walk back, put your things down, and walk back out again and buy again... :) There are many pubs and eateries here in this area.   I arrived very late in the evening maybe 11pm and could not find any hostel open, i tried calling the '24 hour' receptions of other hostels nearby but no one answered. i found the cape byron yha in an awesome spot and it looked open so i walked in and was welcomed by a lady who happened to still be working late, she organised my room no problem. Stones throw from the beach and 2 min wal - the location was fantastic as well as the price for a bed! happy was very comfortable.

  The communal area was huge with free wifi and good sized kitchen, really nice roof terrace but would be even better if wifi was available up there, but then I suppose it would be packed every day! The staff were always friendly and happy to help with any concerns or questions. About a half hour walk to Circular Quay/Opera House. Harbour Bridge but is a great walk through Hyde Park, past Westfield and through the Botanical Gardens. Clean, great communal area. Fantastic stay
