  I liked that the Metropole is in the middle of town and is close to the railway station for those without a car. I liked the historic building with its lovely old, but well maintained structures, including the walkway from the back carpark to reception. It is a delight walking through the area with its ferns, goldfish, etc. - Location was great... was die leute sagen » great. Close to all site seeing and also cheap great food and shops. Hotel was old school setting as well as modern which was great. I will be staying again later this year and will recommend this hotel to everyone going to the blue mountains.

It even smells good and is impeccably clean, plus includes breakfast and cooking facilities. It's perfectly located away from the town in a residential oasis. Only a few mins drive to shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend it!

  The facilities/BBQ areas were well located, clean and easy to use. The camp kitchen was great for our gathering. The river view was wonderful and the staff were friendly. - Lovely location, very spacious and clean, self contained room overlooking the river. Sorry we were there for only one night.
