  When I saw that the Alexander is beside a busy roundabout I feared the worst. I was delighted when I entered my room (number 21) to find it double glazed, cool and oh so quiet. My room contained a very comfortable queen bed and a comfortable armchair. Perfect for a little getaway. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I will stay there again. - I really appreciated the willingness of management to assist with some issues we had. Doug went well above and beyond to help with a communication problem we had with business.

  We loved the beautiful matching bedspread, behead and curtains. The quality was evident. The room was very spacious, larger than we thought. It was great to have a deep bath which was also a Spa. We stayed upstairs and apart from hearing the rubbish truck come around we had a restful and quite two day stay. Reception lady was happy offer assi... was die leute sagen » stant. We will definitely be asking for this room again! It is close to pubic baths and waking distance to Park and about a 10 min walk to Woolwort - Clean good size room. Not far from shops..   what I liked was the fact is was so intimate there was never more than five people in the pools. Not real keen on trying to relax with a crowd I prefer quiet and intimate and this place ticked all the boxes for me and my elderly parents we stayed 6 nights really did not want to go home. will be back for sure.. building might be old but we were the... was die leute sagen » re for one purpose and that was to relax in the pools.. - The room was spacious with front and back doors. Back door led to grassed area beside Mehi River. 2 artesian spas and 1 swimming pool were just perfect for relaxing. We did not have to venture away to have the artesian experience. The restaurant was very good. The food was outstanding. The staff were also outstanding - we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was a problem.
