  We were a couple with a infant. We were recommended to this hotel by a friend. It had cooking facilites we wanted for our baby. T also had Air conditioner, car parking and wi-fi which we look for where ever we go. The staff (receptionist- I assume she is the owner) was very friendly and helped us a lot to plan our sight seeing. Bed was very comfortable.Kitchen area very adequate. Good outdoor BBQ area. Location great - near the Esplanade, shops and airport. Good price for the facilities as a lot of budget accommodation have shared bathrooms.

  Very good location, beautiful view facing the inlet wharf. Quiet but very close to woolworth, restaurants and gift shops. The room was thougtfully set up with full kitchen equipments as well as basic condiments and utensiles. Free wifi. The room and towels were very clean. They are always helpful and responsive to any que - We stayed at the Jack & Newell for three nights in a 3 bed apartment in Nov 2013. The apartment was huge, modern décor, well cleaned and maintained. As well as the pool facilities. The property is located just a few streets over from the CBD, the pier, the marina and the casino! David the manager was a great guy and went out of his way to provide advise on tours etc to make our trip successful. Would certainly recommend this property to anyone considering staying in Cairns.

  The swim-out apartment was spacious and clean. The rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and laundry equipments were in good condition.   We were originally meant to only stayed 4 nights but we stayed the entire 8 of our holidays! It is definitely worth the price you pay. Our room was serviced everyday by the friendly house keepers and were always greeted by the friendly, helpful service desk people. The people at the service desk will always help you book tours, taxi, shuttle bu... was die leute sagen » ses and all. Webber whom was a staff member was mainly a huge help to my partner and I!! The breakfast buffet is amazing. They offer a huge variety of - Absolutely loved our stay at the Rydges Esplanade Resort. The staff were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We checked in prior to 2pm due to a flight reschedule and even though the hotel was close to full the staff did everything they could to get us into our room as quickly as possible which was greatly appreciated. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We had a mountain view room which had stunning views of Cairns at night. If your out during the day, I'd recommend this

This hotel/motel was very clean and well laid out (as good as a new building) with swimming pool, breakfast area with the option for a cooked meal - continental provided, spacious outdoor lounge and BBQ area. Three car hire firms a five minute walk away. We have already recommended this hote - Queen's Court had atmosphere. The areas for relaxing are plentiful, aesthetically pleasing and well designed. From the clean rooms equipped with TV, fridges, hair dryer, AC to the included breakfast, this hotel is very budget friendly. Although on a main thoroughfare our room was toward the back of the hotel and noise was not a problem. Exceptionally friendly staff concluded an excellent stay!
