Great value for money, truly enjoyable stay. Cannot recommend it enough. - Reasonably priced, the villa was better than a motel room as it had a kitchen and a separate bedroom. The staff were amazing and the place was walking distance to a mall. A few minutes drive to Westfield mall, close to the airport, not that far from cbd by bus. I would recommend colonial village to everyone.

Jim drove me to hospital when Taxis did not respond to call. I liked the fact that the house was typically Queensland style & the girl on reception was really helpful advising me on where to go n wot2 do. 10min walk to ferry n river front. Private room was comfortable n had a tv, which felt like a luxury, pluss Free Wifi!!!. This place was really quiet n not for ppl w... was die leute sagen » ho want2 party. - I got off the plane at 12:00 at night, and had to leave at 04:00 in the morning to catch the plane out and the accomodation was very understanding of this.Also I was able to freely come and go each day, and no one had a problem. I had a great stay with Bowen Terrace and it was well located for me to get to know Brisbane.

  We spend a couple of nights there, and honestly it was just an amazing time! The staff is really friendly and really helpful. The accommodation is really nice, with terrace, a nice tv plasma, a little kitchen, and a nice bathroom ( an really clean!)! Everything for a great price !   The owners of the Motel were very friendly. We were travelling with a two year old toddler, and they put up a cot for him in our room. The size of the room was ok. There was a fridge and a microwave and some dishes but no real kitchenette. The bathroom was spacious. Undercover Parking. Also after a day out it was great to relax in the undercover BBQ and outdoor area. A really nice place to stay. We definitely will go back again.

The covered terrace is a lovely place to have a drink or a meal. Lots of wood and quirky old things in the public parts with a well-equipped kitchen.
