  So close to Southern Cross Station for early morning departure on Overland train next day. Close to Convention Centre only a couple of stops away on the tram for attending a conference.   Great location although currently there is construction going on across the road. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms and shared bathrooms were clean. The first room we stayed in was quite small and noisy as it was looking out to the construction site but we asked to change rooms and were moved to a bigger room at the back which was ... was die leute sagen » lovely. - It's very close to the city centre and the important tourist attractions. The bed was very comfortable and the flat screen tv was great. It was really worth the money and I think it will make a great place to stay if you will mostly be outside visiting Melbourne and just need to have a good shower and sleep!
