Palermo is a good 30 mins by taxi away - I liked very much the hostel, the rooms are clean, people are very nice, the recepcionists are adorable. I'm brazilian and stayed for four days, went alone to buenos aires and was amazing. The hostel is close to other neighborhoods known like palermo retiro and recoleta. I recommend!

  Es gibt eine schöne und grosse Dachterrasse (leider keine Aussicht). - It was my second staying in this hostel, and I had a chance to compare it with some other hostels after my first staying. I must say, that it's a really great place to live, and it's even better than most of the 2-3* hotels in Baires. Excellent lounge, nice furniture and decor... was die leute sagen » ating, very kind people who speak good English, perfect location and security, and, what was really important for me, very high level of cleanness in every part of hostel. As I think, the only reason why it's not a 'hotel' - The hostal is an old colonial building. It has original features and large shuttered windows, it is beautiful and is walking distance to the antiques market, bars and main areas while feeling vey local and not overly touristy. The owners and the people that worked there were friendly and accomodating especially Pablo and even the surly but caring Muigel. There was another very nice man there but I didn't get his name.

  Das Hostal ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Einfach, aber funktionell und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Man sollte aber etwas Spanisch können, dann kommt man mit den Leuten in Kontakt. Auf meiner Rückreise werde wieder hier buchen. - Obwohl ich nicht alle Nächte ausgenutzt habe, wurden nur die Nächte berechnet die ich auch anwesend war.   We stayed in Hotelmo which is next store to the Mantengase hotel, they offered private rooms with private bathroom. Everything was fantastic from the location, service, the owners of the complex are very very accommodating.
