  This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. When I called to make the reservation, I was told that there was a Jazz Festival and Sunday night was not available. The Staff (Debbie??) suggested the Crowne Plaza for Sunday. I appreciated that since I am not familiar with the area. Breakfast and happy hour were a huge plus. We came to witness the commissioning of the USS Minnesota, did some shopping and visited the beautiful Virginia Beach. What a wonderful time and place.

  The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, the room was smoke free along with the rest of the hotel, the room was clean and remodeled. Also the bed and linen, and pillows(could be a little softer) were new. The widescreen tv was nice also and the bathroom was clean with soap, shampoo and washcloths and towels which were replaced everyday. We had one minor issue with the ac unit not working, but they immediatly sent a maintenance man up to fix it. He even came back twice to make sure it was still working well for us. Very pet friendly too!

  Staff was friendly, room relatively clean, location was excellent- we were within walking distance of the coliseum, where we were attending a 3 day event, hotel was quiet - Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice. Hotel was convenient. Especially liked the fact that I could get a smoking room.
