  We were very Happy to stay there . The location was perfect for us and when we got back in the evening most of the staff greeted us, we were very comfortable till our next day adventures.   When we was in the process of booking our travel plans I founded it pretty hard to make a decision based on all the different reviews,ok so I vowed to give my honest experience to help other ppl,thats traveling on a budget and looking for the best deal.....and this was by best,the best decision we made...before I give my experience, my total price... 别人怎么说 » we paid for 2 airfare(spirit) and 3 nite hotel stay came to $615 which left alot of shopping and food money(lunch,dinner),limo from/to our home,....o - This is one of the best place's I have ever stayed at. The people were very friendly and nice, the breakfast was outstanding. The rooms were clean, with microwave, refrig, and coffee pot in every room. This will be the place I will be staying from now on, as I have to come to San Diego, at least every 5 weeks.

  I loved being so close to the beach and able to hear the waves at night. The staff was exceedingly nice & very helpful. When booking, I had forgotten to mention that I would need a handicapped room. They very easily changed my room at no additional charge - The rooms were simple and so confortable. Just a perfect place on the beach!

  The hotel was newly renovated and was very nice. The rooms are very spacious and very nicely upgraded. I was impressed with this travelodge. The property was well maintained, the room was extremely clean and comfortable. Our room was facing highway but we didn't have any difficulty in sleeping. It is not noisy at all.   It's a beautifully restored old building. They did a good job of updating it but keeping the historical touches. Great location--within walking distance of many restaurants and shops in downtown San Diego. It's well located in the Gaslight Quarter, close to the Convention Center and with easy access to all the things that make San Diego fun. The rooms are very nice with a fireplace and lots of faux-antiques that made the rooms look more "Victorian" and lots of fun. It had all the modern comforts while giving the impression that we were staying in Wyatt Earp's old San Diego. I'd definitely stay there again.

  My husband and I were celebrating our silver wedding and booked 3 nights at the hotel,we loved every minute of our stay.
