  Hotel was right downtown on the water front and walking distance from most anything downtown. The people mover also stops here so its easy to get back to the hotel or visit any of the other locations in downtown. The staff was extermely friendly and helpful.   Deb was the night manager. We had talked to her the night before so she could charge the room to my husband's credit card, as he was not accompanying me on the trip.   It was clear that the hotel was being upgraded and we were happy that our rooms were those already completed. The furnishings were new, carpet and bedding was new, and the rooms were very clean.   Very friendly staff!! I was checked in very quickly, room was spacious, clean and quiet. This was booked for the night before my wedding. Breakfast was great, although extremely crowded. Also in the morning I asked for a late check out. I was denied, however 5 minutes later they called me back to inform the manager approved it!   Location is awesome. Right next to a large Meijers store. This was a stop over for us, we were travelling north. Staff are always friendly and my granddaughter loves the pool. This makes for a great relax time after a day of travelling.
