  We wanted to stay in the Shenandoah National Park, but everywhere was booked up; booked the Hampton instead. What luck! The Park was closed due to the Federal shutdown, so the Hampton Inn made a great central base for visiting the area. Rooms are huge, and the lounge area similar.
