Despite being extremely busy for the Labor Day weekend, the front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. No attitudes, which is a welcome change in today's customer service. The elevators broke down and the young maintenance man was doing his best to get everything up and running. It was clear he was working extremenly hard in the hot temps. Housekeeping was also working extremely hard to get the rooms clean, despite having guests being rude to them. Free golf was nice.
所有评语 » This inn was a good location with very clean facilities. The front office was helpful and answered all my questions. The room was large with a separate area from the sleeping area which contained a desk, table, microwave and refrigerator. The price was economical and I would not hesitate to stay here again. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean and actually alot bigger than some places I have spent more money for. I liked the idea of the putt-putt golf right on the property. I like the rooms. My family and I always enjoy playing put put golf. We stayed last June and really liked our visit. so we came back. We would rather be on the seawall, but the prices are to high. The convience and location. The staff was excellent and the rooms were clean. There was a problem with the air condition not cooling and it was taken care of immediately. Very nice maintance man. That we could leave our car while on our cruise, and that transportation to the pier was included. Loved the miniature gold, even if course could use some sprucing up. Pool area was very nice. Room in both buildings were nice. Staff was super-friendly and very helpful. Room was nice, though dated. Location was good. I would stay there again if I were in Galveston. I love how clean and neat the rooms and lobby are. This is my second time staying here. I will stay here again when in Galveston. I would recommend this place to everyone. Almost everything, the staff that is Marcus had an excellence attitude and the housekeeping staff included. Rooms was very clean and the breakfast was okay too. Everything was great ! I liked being able to play putt putt right there at the hotel too! Will go there again. Your location was away from the busy parts of town, breakfast was great and the budget was affordable. Close to Moody Gardens and Schliterbahn. short drive to beach and restaurants. Enjoyable breakfast. The rooms were very clean beds were comfortable. Shower and bathroom very clean. Clean smelling. The bed was comfortable and smelt clean. The room was very big and felt like you were at home. The room my wife & I stayed in was excellent for the money & a nice location!. The Inn was clean, quiet, and parking was great. Great value for the buck. Loved all the activities available to entertain the kiddos. Friendly staff. Convenient location to attractions. Large rooms. The kids liked the putt put course. It was not the newest of courses and had rocks over the tears in the green but they did not mind. The room was comfortable if a little tired looking. The staff were polite and friendly. Stayed in old section, carpet and paint were new. Room was oversized. The mini golf course. My kids really enjoyed themselves... It was a nice hotel. Rooms were spacious. The area around the pool smelled of sewage and the pool water was not clean. We never got to enjoy the continental breakfast as it was too crowded and breakfast ends to early. If you were going to the beach, it was a few blocks. It would be close for someone going to Moody Gardens or the waterpark. nothing. Transportation back to the hotel after the cruise was disorganized. Who got loaded first depended on where the bus stopped. We finally caught the 3rd bus, even though we were there way before others who got on sooner. Some way of organizing this, like they did at the hotel when leaving for the cruise would be a great benefit. Very noisy. Walls in the newer building are paper-thin and a group one floor up kept the family awake most of the night despite at least 3 calls to the front desk. In the other room in the older building, the hair dryer didn't work and some wall plugs were non-functional. Nothing. The only thing that I did not like was the breakfast serving plates was so small and that you could some grits to the menu. One other thing I did not have the HBO channel no time during the stay. That's all everything was good. Did not have a jacuzzi. Pool needed pool lights scrubbed and cleaned. Elevators could use air freshner. Nothing loved everything. The bathroom had a crack in it and the light in the bathroom flickered and made it seem like a horror movie. the customer luggage carts in the blue bldg. (the one I stayed in) needs to be replaced! They are falling apart!. Parking spots were tiny. can be noisy at night with kids running around, but not bad. This is a family hotel, near the waterpark, and Moody Gardens. As such it is used by young children who can be quite noisy. So.... Not for you if you want a peaceful stay. The breakfast facilities are cramped. You may want to grab your food and sit outside. nothing. The tile floor was very cold when going to the bathroom. The rear door to the office was broken so could not be used. would have liked a hot breakfast. The pool was terrible! The rooms had trash in them and did not feel very clean. It was listed as a 3 star hotel and that it was not!. This motel if aimed at families so there were loads of kids about, especially during breakfast. When you arrive at the turning the motel is not well signed. I carried on in the larger hotel/convention centre before eventually finding my way to the motel. A large sign at the entrance would help. Bed was very old and worn, bathroom very small, and toilet did not work properly. Had to close and open valve at wall to refill bowl after every flush. The hotel part we stayed in need to be remodeled.Painted and furniture nicked and soiled. The toliet ran constant need some repairs. We were there for our 23 yr. Anniversary I and my wife was HIGHLY dispointed. Don"t think we will be staying again in the future. Let"s not forget the view a" Large Oil Tank". Not Beautiful SITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. The bathroom was very dated and badly needed repair. I feel you could take some of the space from the entry and make a great bathroom space. The bed was not good the floor would of been better. Shower didn't drain good. Loud floors / ceilings - cheap construction. Layout of hotel is poor. The location is off the beaten path. They closed their complimentary breakfast earlier than advertised. Shower was moldy and nasty. Fridge was not cold or even cool. Way overpriced for one night's stay. Not really clean Run down rooms Far from the real hot spots Horrible bed. The walls are a little thin. Beds were terrible. AC was very loud! Breafast area/lobby furniture was filthy!.
