The bathroom is inside the room you can hear if some one in and what is he doing.. There is problem with the electricity because it's turned off twice after midnight.
the villa was gorgeous, location is very good, and its highly recommended to visit. not to mention the price for the villa is very expectable.

Lovely Villas and very friendly staff. Loved the pool and sun deck. Have read complaints regarding the restaurant and the fact that there is only one with limited choice. It is pricy, but there are other restaurants close by with the Al Hamra hotel within walking distance on the same property. For the limited number of Villas one can't realistically expect more restaurants. Had a great time and will return again.
Not much we didn't like but hoping the hotel reads this, here is s little constructive criticism; Sitting outside at the restaurant in the evening is lovely but you battle to see your food or read the menu's. So much so that we moved indoors on the second evening. Something needs to be done about the lighting.

lack of privacy compared to the wadi rooms. private pools/table and chairs could be viewed from pathway outside and by next villa. this is easily rectified by 2 ft of barasti either side of each villa, would not spoil the views and give privacy that the cost reflects. food on restaurant menu very limited.
The villa was nice, good location and swimming pool.
The swimming pool wasn't private no curtain around the pool like the other branch Al Wadi, so expensive.
1- The villa design is amazing. 2- Private pool is perfect.
Few comments: 1- the TV channels are very limited. 2- introduce more greenish landscape since banyan tree beach is more into beach and green nature which is differ than Banyan Tree al Wadi. 3- The breakfast buffet is also limited. I suggest that you enhance and include more variety of food.

Such a quiet, scenic place. Traveling by boat to leave and return to the hotel was always fun. Very friendly staff. Kids couldnt stay away from the private pool. 2 days of non-stop swimming, and great sun tans!
The beach was very calm; a man-made bay. We saw a large dead squid washed up on the shore. Whilst swimming, I got bitten by some sort of sea creature. We even saw a creature jump out of the water and dive back in! Which got us thinking that the calm waters may be a bit too full of sea life! Since we had kids, we were too worried to return to the beach the next day.
The staff were friendly, the hotel is clean, comfortable, i would definetaly stay again
The price was a bit high, i wish they made the swimming pools totally private.

Difficult to find and no proper covered hotel parking. The surrounding areas still under a lot of construction.

i had to wait 30mins while check-in, but it doesn't matter as long as i was welcomed and served in a restaurant.

I liked the private villa and pool, I loved the beach cabana and the access to the beach in general. The sunset cruise was always nice and romantic. The location overall is very good and setting is very relaxing.
I didn't like the maintenance of the villa, I think a 5 start hotel should do better on maintenance. I also didn't like the fact that there's only one restaurant available and the breakfast had very poor varieties. Also, there should be more activities to be done and facilities to be available.

i liked the place and the staff , rooms are very relaxing and comfort , staf are very freindly and the boat is great... we also went to Sharjah and eat very nice food in Falafel Al Dar .... they have the best Falafel, Shawarma and Mansaf in UAE ..
- Five start hotel facilities when it was first built. The facility is aging very fast.
- Three star service all around - Food quality very poor - Demanded twice to talk to the manager but totally ignored (leadership starts at the top). - Breakfast selection and cleanliness of the breakfast area were very poor - Very bad value for money - Takes about 10 minutes to open the 10 or more curtains in the room. Roller blind would have been easier. - Telephone operator never answers the phone Amenities very bad
The location. We got a pool villa and we liked its privacy. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was dusty. I asked for a baby cot and it was all stained. The sofa and chairs were also stained. The water in the bathroom was either yellow or white. The toilet design is not family friendly with its very revealing glass door. Overall i wouldnt give it 5 stars. It was poorly maintained.

There is no facilities in the hotel and especially restaurant for fine dining they should have good restaurant with live music and candles for romantic atmosphere, and the room (tent) is full of curtain .

It was in a good location, relaxing & peaceful. They checked us in early. Staff friendly.
It was not worth the amount of money you pay. Supper at the Sands restaurant took over an hour to come even though there were only 4 other tables being served. They ran out of the dessert we wanted. There is only the 1 restaurant. Breakfast was not that impressive. Apart from the baech and spa there is nothing else to do there. There is Al Hamra golf course but the rates the Hotel offered us were more expensive that the rates we could get using our egf card.

Noise, especially at night, with discos on the beach at the neighbouring hotels til 3 am Too reliant on neighbouring hotels or resort 10kms away for facilities Needs to try and cover the man- made nature of the beach spur it is based on.
The beach
The pool must had too much chemicals in it since me and my wife developed skin rash after taking a swim the first day. Also we didn't like the late response from the resturant and the front desk. Much more, the hotel charged us for some green tax thing which they didn't inform us about it previously and once I discovered I told them why you didn't take my permission. Before charging and the answer was nothing... They kept charging us without even doing anything... Horrible
1-The spa was relaxing. 2- Near by water sport activity. 3- Good connection of wireless in the room.
1- The navigation to the hotel was very bad took us an hour to find the place, which we have passed twice ! 2- Hotel need renovation, u can see rust in the toilet, and i found a bottle of water inside the corner of my private pool. 3- The hotel was disappointing we though they offer private covered pool like any 5 stars hotel. 4- Room service was extremely expensive we paid around 600 Dirham for dinner for two. we usually pay this price for dine in luxury restaurant.
