  My 4 day stay was sad for me as my sister ,was trasferred to a hospice near by ,after a sudden and terminal illness.the staff were excellent,and gave us space.The food excellent and we were able to eat in peace.I spoke to the manageress and her children were very polite.however sad these things are life and normality has to go on. sadly she died ... 别人怎么说 » yesterday evening.aged just 62 thank you - Where it was situated, easy to find. We had a new room as there is work in progress to update. Bathroom lovely and clean, big comfy bed,clean towels and plenty of hot water. Also a large flat screen t.v. and free view box. We ate in Restuarant down stairs and the range of food was more than adeqaute for an Inn. Breakfast was very good. Would stay again and highly recommend.

  The breakfasts were delightful, the owners had thought of all the little things, spring water as well as tea and coffee making facilities, wine glasses & cork screw. The gardens were stunning and planted out in such a way that if the original 16th century owner came to visit he would know exactly where he was and what time of year. The owners ... 别人怎么说 » Sally and Douglas have created a wonderful country house retreat, welcoming their guests' whether two or four legged with warmth and friendliness. - Loved it! Owners were very friendly and accomodating. Nothing was overly "B&B" like, just felt we had walked straight into someone's home (this is positive!). The four poster room was superb! Now I've got to deal the demands of the other half wanting one! :-)
