We stayed at Battlesteads after a long day driving up from London. The room was very comfortable, easily big enough for the four of us. We were really tired the evening of our arrival and it was very welcome to find that the restaurant could seat us in half an hour. The countryside around Battlesteads is gorgeous and we were sorry to spend so little time there (only one night).
