Cheese board bland just literally cheese and biscuits. Needed accompniments ue grapes celery and butter.   The hotel is a 5 mins walk from the sea front. And a ten min walk from the old village. We had a car- but there are bus stops everywhere and they seem to be very regular. The options for breakfast were very varied and even amended it to suit my needs. Gillian and Andy, the proprietors, were very helpful in suggesting the nicest places to visit and how best to get there. All in all a great hotel.

A particular pleasure was James and Paula's suggested "Round the Isl - The hotel was in a great location for Shanklin, it was clean very comfortable and had a fantastic breakfast collection. James and Paula were very helpful as well as organising our ferry travel they also had a handy pack in the room with local walks and island attractions, they also requested guests to review where they had eaten, this certainly helped with our decisions. Overall a fantastic place and would stay again if ever on the island.
