  I liked the way the floors were uneven, like the old building it is. I liked the beautiful black and white facade. The location is fantastic, in the village square, a short walk from the castle on the hill and the village church. Spotless, comfortable room and bed, good food, local beer in the friendly (TV-free) bar. Friendly, helpful and (som... 别人怎么说 » e) slightly wacky staff, not like the standarisation of a chain hotel. - Excellent location in pretty town near family. Friendly staff with decent food though with limited choice for dinner. Atmospheric bar. Comfortable and clean room though a little small. Excellent breakfast but beware the tinned tomatoes!

  An enjoyable two nights stay with evening meals and breakfasts. A nice place in a wonderful part of the country, nice staff and good food. Everywhere nice and clean and in good order. One downside for us older guests was the staircase, both steep with narrow treads and an awkward return at the bottom, an extra hand rail would be helpful. Somewhere... 别人怎么说 » to put shampoo and shower gel in the shower would also be of help. I agree with a previous reviewer that a room guide giving meal times and T.V. oper - The room was lovely with all the needed facilities. The bathroom was spacious with a lovely shower and the bedroom was very spacious and the idea of sky TV is brilliant also the wifi in the bedrooms was very strong :) The staff were all very friendly and chatty and made us feel so welcome.

  Very impresive well maintained house in lovely setting. The staff were all very nice and nothing was too much trouble. Good food all at good value for money. Only down side, don't trust Sat Nav !!! you may find yourself in a field up a very small lane. No compaints look forward to returning. - The family room had a small annex with two proper beds ... 别人怎么说 » rather than a sofa bed. This was so much more comfortable for our teenage children and gave us all more privacy.
