  it is a beautiful hotel that has fantastic staff and a really nice atmostphere. You felt as if you was at home. - The staff were exceptionally friendly and made it feel very welcoming and the breakfast was outstanding. Whether it was an extra slice of toast, a late night drink or calling us a cab, every request was met with a smile.

  The BandB was wonderful. a real charming lodge and area. The hosts were very friendly and could not have done more, would highly recommend a stay here to a charmless hotel - Adequate room, warm, cosy and very clean - plenty of hot water! Loved the room; characterful, tasteful, quirky and t - It's quirky and charming. The room was lovely and crucially, not horribly over-heated. As the owners don't live on site there is food for breakfast left in a little fridge - so no need to watch the clock. For a cooked breakfast or brunch you can visit the Tea Rooms downstairs (I had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon - really good).The people I met were friendly and helpful.

  Kevin and Pauler made us feel very welcome.. We stayed in the house rather than an annexe and this was very comfortable. The cooked breakfast was really good and exceptional value at only £2.50 each. The local pub was very friendly and served good food at a reasonable price.   We travelled with our dog and the hotel served for dual purposes. Night 1 overnight stay prior to a business trip flying from Stansted and night 2 an overnight stay en route to Dover. We also know the Thatchers in Hatfield Heath, - Nothing was too much trouble, very friendly and helpful owners, the bed was very comfortable and our room was lovely and clean. Lovely little village, easy to find. We felt very welcome and now we have found Bonningtons we will definitely be staying again before we fly out of Stansted and the fact that it included parking and transfers to the airport was a bonus for us.   My 2 children and I found the cottage very welcoming and comfortable. Miles and Christine are great hosts. We had a private living room with coal fire burning stove next to the bedroom.
