The comfort/cleaniness of the rooms.I'm a really picky person when itcomes to clean hotel rooms. And the room we stayed in was prefectlyspotless. We will use the purple hotel again and recommend it tofriends/family and work friends. Central to everything we needed, clean and tidy. A lot better hotel nowit has been taken over. A better stay this year than last year. We rhoping 2 stay there next year!!!.
所有评语 » only stayed for one night, found the staff very friendly and helpfull, the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, was nice to have a decent sized shower room. The first-rate accommodation and friendly and helpful reception there. I hope to use the hotel again when I visit the Doncater area.The reception staff were really helpful with their directions to the dome and giving us a number for a taxi. it was clean, modern, staff polite and lovely selection at breakfast. Great location for shopping,football,and racing.Staff very helpfull. It was good value,near to where we wanted to be, the Lakeside area.ideal place to stay for me to have a night out and visit friends. good quality hotel and clean good size room and excellent staff. plenty of tea and coffee in room and the large shower. Everything was excellent the staff, room etc. Excellent facilities. excellent. friendly. Very nicely fitted out hotel and extremely comfortable with air conditioning and good sized showers..everything was fantastic, surounding areas very pleasant.city centre easily accessible. large rooms and shower although I did find the shower floor a bit slippery. watched a mma fight. Great rate, relaxed atmosphere of restaurant / bar area and very clean rooms. Breakfast also great value (paid £8 as I booked room only).Friendly, helpful staff. Stayed at a weekend so despite reviews of traffic noise it was very quiet. Breakfast was exceptional, one could stay there a week and not have the same thing twice.Size and quality of hotel room. It was just off the dual carriageway,and there was a little bit of a dangerous walk past and accross two lanes with no footpath to the shopping area.If it rained i nwould imagine it could get quite mucky.The obligatory, male massage by sky sports!!!!!!. choice of food was a bit limited, preffered the steak choice to offer more than rump. On Christmas Eve our daughter went to the hotel to leave some Christmas gifts for us, only to be told the booking had been cancelled. I had not cancelled the booking so I do not know how this happened. Fortunately the booking was reinstated after our daughter insisted it had not been cancelled. found a huge spider. We felt very sorry for the poor night manager. The hotel was full and itmust have been obvious that most people were at the Elton John concert.We arrived back at the hotel after the concert and managed to get adrink from the bar, but then evryone kept piling in and were queueingupto 30 minutes to be served.The poor man behind the bar was alsochecking people in and answering the telephone. A sign on the roundabout would make it easier to find. The menu was really limited and quite boring. Breakfast should be included in price. And it shouldn't be so dear when it's not included.Location in the middle of an industrial estate. Had to go downstairs to collect room service order. No warning was given on literature etc. Room service should be just that.Returning from the Elton John concert (Keepmoat Stadium) which is practically next door to the hotel for a drink there was a queue back through the foyer to the entrance.There was only one person serving behind the bar and was also booking guests in aswell.We had to queue for at least 25 mins for a drink.Everyone queueing was complaining.Surely this could be improved when there's a big concert on?. No it's just annoying having to pay double the price than normal whenthere is a race meeting on.Breakfast could improve - more variety in the cooked breakfast,and fresher. Dining/ catering a little impersonal. Dining area cold. The service for the evening meal on the 2nd day of my stay was exceedingly poor, my request for a side order of vegetables was refused because of lack of stock. unfortunatly we could smell smoke in the corridor leading to our room. We informed the reception staff when checking out. They were going to deal with it.No radio or pay TV or DVD player. TV chanels were so restricted. No room service. No business centre or computers to be used. Charge for internet use if you bring your laptop!. Noise from the industrial estate - poor location - no room service - ran more like a BandB. Get what you pay for - hardly slept as the room felt like there was an earthquake every time a lorry went past - which was quite often. Breakfast was really poor - cooked choice - sausage, bacon, scrambled mushey eggs and beans. If you are a heavy sleeper then not a bad choice re the price.I know it's only a small thing but the toilet roll was very cheap. A false economy I think as you have to use twice as much. When we arrived we would have liked to eat at 5pm ish but meals didnt start till 7pm. We had to be at an event at the dome by 7.30pm so we had to find somewhere else to eat.No bath tub, only shower.
