It has to be said, this is a truly wonderful place to stay. No paper thin walls, hard beds and noise here. If your're on business and you've had a hard day and want to relax this is where you need to be. If you like the thrill of mountain biking and want some scary trails - this is the IN place to stay.

Afan Lodge is an amazing hotel and made so by the family of mountain bikers who run it
It's got the lot if you're into mountain biking from a hearty breakfast before your ride, advice on trails to ride during the day and local food/beer to drink on your return (and all without having to get in your car once you arrive because it's located in the middle of the trails)
But if you're not into mountain biking and just want to explore this beautiful part of the world you'll get a similarly warm welc
