These apartments are very well appointed and are located close to Montpellier. We had an issue originally because we were allocated an apartment on the top floor which meant a climb involving 64 stairs We asked to be moved and to be fair the management did manage to accommodate us on the ground floor for the final two days of a four day booking. This apartment was immaculate and we were very grateful for the change.
所有评语 » What a stunning and beautifully presented apartment. We stayed in Apt 4 which had two bedrooms and an upper floor with gorgeous lounge and well equipped kitchen. We could live here!!! Fantastic. It has set the benchmark for all apartments we hope to find in the future and so convenient for central Cheltenham. Really enjoyed our stay here. Generally very spacious especially the lounge, modern apartment in an old Georgian terrace convenient for the town and to the motorway. Apartment had everything we needed and it was clean and fresh. Bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in!. The location and facilities of Lansdown place were all fantastic. It was a great central place to stay. The guest book was very informative and the owners of the apartment had thought of everything travellers may need and were ready. The staff at MJ were quite helpful. The efficient and friendly staff at the call centre and the prompt arrival of the manager, who helped me get in when I couldn't work the key safe! The apartment's location-perfect. The swish surroundings and attractive split level design of the apartment. 22 Lansdowne Place, was just perfect for our needs! Would recommend to others. However, there is a leak in the main bathroom toilet and we could not find the bins outside for our rubbish! Otherwise lovely Thanks you. loved the location and that it was walking distance to shops and bars. apartment was very clean and warm (I think it was the coldest and wettest weekend of the year) nice area and very quiet apartment. Décor was excellent. Kitchen, dining and lounge areas were very comfortable with plenty of space with all "mod cons". Close to town, shops and festival venues. Relatively easy free parking!. the building is beautiful, the decor is modern and tastefully done. the apartment had everything you could need. we met the building manager who gave us some local info. Absolutely fantastic location my girlfriend and i spent a few days in Cheltenham and found 22 Lansdown Place the perfect getaway apartment! Definitely back next year!!. Brilliantly organised, great directions and info on how to get in etc. great apartment space and very well equipped. Superb location, comfy beds. Beautiful place to stay and the lobby is stunning with its suspended stair case, the apartment was lovely and modern, we had a wonderful stay. The accommodations were wonderful, the beds very confortable, and parking was available free on site. Would definitely stay here again!. Beautiful apartment, would highly recommend. Within walking distance of shops, restaurants and bars. We will definitely be back. A perfect Home from Home location, all the facilites and lots of space to relax! - Perfect, better than staying at a B&B. Located in the smart Montpelier section of town, 22 Lansdown had modern amenities including a washer & kitchen. Such a perfect place to stay! Can't say anything bad about apartments! Location.General comfort. Location is good, apartment is roomy and clean. This is the second time I've stayed and would stay again. Good furnishings and facilities in a nice part of Cheltenham. Location and apartment was clean and well decorated. Good location. As I have said the apartments are beautifully appointed but they do involve stairs and the top floors are a difficult climb. The climb up 64 stairs to apartment 8 was frankly very difficult and should be avoided. Difficult to park late at night. Wooden handled cutlery not really suitable for a dishwasher!. The bath needed to be scrubbed before it could be used. This was more than likely a one off as the rest of the apartment was very clean. No welcome pack (I knew there wouldn't be, but some milk in the fridge so it would be possible to make a cup of tea on arrival would be nice!) No local map. There was a pack with details of places to visit, but no directions for how to get to them!. we were given the wrong door entry code but luckily one of the residents came to our rescue. it was very cold waiting on the doorstep. I double checked my emails but the code was definitely wrong and completely different to the correct one. it would be a nice extra to be given essential toiletries such as shampoo and shower gel as most other apartments I looked at provided them. Accommodation was booked for sleeping 4 people (Mum Dad and 2 large kids 12 and14) when in fact there was only room for 3. Shame if we were staying longer than 1 night it would have become difficult. We never found the blow up bed! There needs to be another toilet. A little grubby in places, dirty walls, broken toilet seat, grill pan dirty. The glass topped coffee table the wife and family kept banging their shins on it which have turned into a number of bruises. Nothing. Nothing. We squeezed into the last parking spot. I don't know where we would have parked if we hadn't found it. Some road noise and a lot of noise from the apartment above until 4am!. Nothing. Bathroom was a bit unclean on arrival. Heating failed second night and resulted in moving apartments. Parking was difficult. The stairs were very steep and there was no lift. The tv in the master bedroom didn't work at all, no signal. The spa details are misleading, it is a 20/25 minute walk and you need to take your own towels. We expected 5 minutes and took no towels,. Room was cold when we arrived with a damp musty smell. When your only staying for 1 night the check in and out times are a bit tight. The TV in the bedroom wasn't programmed so wouldn't work. No blind/curtains in the single room, which in the middle of summer means that the kids are awake when the sun comes up at 5am. Noise from the other apartments in the building, coming and at all hours of the night - not your fault. nothing, beware when you have a problem with stairs. Only groud floor appartments are oke then. Whole flat could have been better cleaned, eg very dusty in parts, toilet not cleaned from previous guest. Entrance door to snappy!!! :-). Draughty windows. bathroom bin not cleared. Lack of available parking on occasions.Lack of local area information leaflets.Lack of clothes drying facilities. no lift and three flights of stairs. The workman looking into the bedroom window first thing in the morning !! I was on the top floor, the last thing you would expect..... mattress was uncomfortable and it could do with a TV in the bedroom (solo traveller). Booking procedure is painful needing several phone calls for simple matters. Booking was taken but calls made to me to explain that the booked room was not actually available. Now on two separate occasions within a week the booking has been wrong. When we arrived the key was not in the right location and the promised extra bed was not ready and had to be inflated! It also deflated during the night so a dismal experience all round. Very short of storage and wardrobes. Beds in need of replacement. Information about where to pick up key was unclear. Did see any staff people who must have forgot key code rung all the house bells at 4:30 in the morning they were very lucky I did not knock their teeth out. There was excrement stain on the toilet floor. Beware even if you book and pay 3 months in advance you probably will get bumped for a more lucrative customer into sub standard accommodation on the day of your arrival with promises of compensation that do not materialise.
