This was a very friendly and helpful hotel staff. Alan could not do enough for us and we will be returning next year. I have been visiting Blackpool for about 10 years and this is the first hotel where I would say I would return. The friendliness of alan (owner). The quality of the food was excellentnot the usual hotel fare.Very clean and well presented hotel. Perfect location. Easy to get to.

Breakfast was excellent. the warm welcome from the manager alan, the politeness of the staff and manager. variety of breakfast well cooked, good size bar area, great parking, rooms very clean and tidy. ideal location. The hotel manager, Alan, couldn't do enough for us and made our stay extremely pleasant.alan was very helpful but generaly from arriving to leavein the stay was exellent. the staff was very helping. friendly owner. the staff were extremely nice and nothing was too much trouble, a friendly and relaxing environment, good location for sight seeing and shops.very friendly and helpful owner and staff, lovely clean crisp sheets. excellent location for tower and shopping centre. The staff where so friendly and very helpful,even when I was singing atthe front door at 3.30am, to let me in!!!! Good hearty breakfast, veryclean room. A very friendly hotel with good facilities in a quieter area of theresort yet close to the main attractions.Our room was clean with all the facilities you would expect to receive, i.e., televison in the room, tea and coffee making facility, clean towels, en suite bathroom, etc. The hotel is good value and staff are very helpful. Good parking on site. Staff were attentive and very obliging but not obtrusive, The facilities were good and everywhere was very clean and tidy. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful and staff made sure that each guest's choice was catered for.Friendliness of staff, room was more than adequate, proximity to town centre, parking on site. Not enough big bottles of white wine. I felt that the hotel had seen better days and like Blackpool in general was in need of a very good facelift. Our room was adequate but a bit tatty, the shower was ok but the hand basin cracked, and the plug fitted so badly the water ran away very quickly. Alcohol not allowed in the bedrooms. I thought this went out with the Landlady locking the door at 9pm!. Very cold during the evening and through the night. Tiny shower-room/toilet, Although clean, the room decor was very dated and needed renewing.only one point it could do with updating a bit ie decor and furnishing. It was a little costly, at this time of year (April) promenade front hotels were the same price/cheaper. yes floor boards in room they were all loose and noisey i thought the bathroom floor was going to calapse also headboard on bed was not secure otherwise it was quite nice. Breakfast was adequate but would have liked a choice of fruit as well as cerials and a choice of fruit juices.very very hard bed. The room and public areas were all "tired" and in need of renovation.Bedlinen and towels were spotlessly clean, but the room - and especiallythe ensuite shower/toilet - was shabby and in need of a thoroughcleaning. Floorboards throughout the hotel were very noisy. Overall,though, the hotel provided good value for money.walls too thin,ensuite abit small and floorboards creeked also if your not quick you'll get bruised by the lift. sharing a room with 2 other girls and having just 1 tiny bathroom was a bit awkward.the hotel is in very bad need of refurbishment. we booked a family room but on arriving we had to have 2 rooms this may seem ok 2 you but my eldest son is handicapped and felt very upset with being alone in a seperate room. Shower was cold. Although our booking said check-out @ 11am the hotel stated 10am. Yet last Breakfast is up until 9:30am. However, we weren't pressured into leaving. Noise from other rooms did cause some problems.Dirty bedding,over familiar staff. Our room was adequate but the en suite was poor - no room to turn round - no shelves or rail for towels. No shaver point. To use the hand basin we had to open the door to get suffifient room. Floor boards uneven and noisy -TV bad reception .Facilities not as per web site. Impossible to get a nights sleep. Breakfast was very poor, cheap food, really busy, people made to wait, nobody served us for ages. Our room was horrid, it needs refurbishment. Everything. Size of rooms. We booked the hotel 2 mths in advance upon arival we had beenbooked into a different hotel because of a leak which latertranspired was untrue.
