If you have any tendency to automobilia then this place is nirvana. The accommodation is above a showroom replete with Morgans from the delights of the 30's 3 wheeler through many Plus 4s, right up to the modern (!) Aero and the reincarnation of said 3 wheeler. The smell alone makes it worth the stay. Design is deco-licious with fabulous attention to detail and the execution is splendid, the highest quality available. Must have been very well project-managed!! Breakfast is an innovative affair .

The warm and friendly atmosphere only enhances what is already a lovely stay . The museum is gorgeous. Decorated and displayed in a very ' classy' way. We loved our stay , the kitchen is wonderful . The friendly, very relaxed, natural, generous and trusting natures of Melvyn and Sindy. The personal touches throughout. Themed rooms and attention to detail. Relaxed, friendly and unique place to stay. The practicality of the kitchen. We loved making our own breakfast at and in our time. The idea allows one to choose eating in privacy or in the company of other guests. Fabulous communal room for any time of the day. Hiring a Morgan was great fun. We would stay again. Lovely spacious Art Deco room and en suite bathroom. Extremely comfortable bed. Self service breakfast in diner copious and a great idea when you need to leave early. Coffee was excellent! Also with children it's a godsend to be able to get a takeaway and be able to eat it at the kitchen bar. Owner was very helpful with ideas and directions. Clearly created with great care and top-quality furniture and fittings. Certainly unconventional, but fascinating. The breakfast arrangements might not suit everyone, but they suited us! Although I have never been tempted to buy a Morgan, to look around the showroom and appreciate the style and quality was a pleasure. enjoyed the proprietor, Melvyn and the novelty of the B&B. First stay at a classic auto repair shop. Loved the Diner for socializing with our friends and preparing breakfast. This is a fun stop and a novel place to stay, especially if you enjoy cars!. The "Family" Room was excellent. Great design, funky and comfortable. Breakfast was self service in Mel & Sindy's Diner.... a retro American style diner with all the mod cons and everything you could need. Brilliant concept, made me smile when i viewed the hotel. The attention to detail is second to none. Added bonus for car buffs, the hotel is above a Morgan dealer with an array of cars to view & hire. Room was fun, cosy and perfect for a romantic weekend. Lovely big shower and well stocked bathroom. The kitchen,an American style diner, was fully supplied for meals and snacks--at any time. An amazing effort has been out in to creating the b&B. The owner Melvyn is a really lovely guy and very proud of what he has achieved. It is definitely worth a visit. Fantastic concept and great to be able to stay somewhere that's just a little but different from the norm. Very friendly and lovely room with a fabulous four poster!. The Aero room we stayed in had the wow factor for us. We wished we could have stayed longer. The Diner was amazing. Brilliant idea. From the moment of entry to the Pit Stop it gave us a good feeling and we were not disappointed as we were given the tour leading to our bedroom. Fantastic accommodation. Melvyn is a gentleman and really makes the effort to go out of his way to look after you. Thoroughly recommended. What did I like? pretty much everything. A wonderful unique place run by wonderful unique people. I wanted romantic and I got it! (lol). Very friendly and helpful. Will be going back there again. There's nothing we didn't like. nothing. That we arrived in the dark and had to leave early so did not have a chance to look at all the beautiful cars. We will have to go back!. Very little! If one were to nit-pick, it would have been useful to have forced ventilation in the bathroom to avoid the mirror misting up, but let's face it, if that's the worst one can find to say about a place, then it's got to be pretty good!. No complaints!. The break ended. If I had to make a criticism, I think it would be that I would quite like a nice cooked breakfast, but in saying that the American diner is open 24 hours for you to help yourself. It has bread, eggs, beans, fruit, cereal. Etc. Nothing. All great. nothing- really great on all counts. Nothing. My wife would not let me buy one of those gorgeous Morgans. Nothing. Nothing. There was nothing I didn't like. Nothing. Had to make your own breakfast. Use of the diner is fine, but I would have preferred a kettle and cups in my room. Further signage outside would have been useful when arriving in dark. No air conditioning in room. Got woken up at 24:15 by the next door room having loud sex so not very happy about that. Also they need to check the dates on teabags as out of date.
