Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, the staff where very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, we were attending a wedding nearby and we were allowed to check in early. The food was exceptional, overall a lovely stay its a shame it couldn't have been longer. The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly. The bedroom we stayed in had a wonderfully comfortable double bed with the softest goose feather duvet. Coffee/tea facilities were second to none. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. Brilliant shower!.
所有评语 » It was very comfortable, our dinner was great pub food, served by lovely staff and very friendly. Breakfast was anything we wanted, again served with a smile, nothing seemed to be too much. Would recommend this inn to anybody visiting the area. The Hotel was ideally placed for the purpose we required. The food was very good and value for money. The staff did all they could to make us feel welcome.The Hotel is just right for visiting Bawtry which was our reason for the stay. Beautiful and extremely comfortable room and facilities, lovely retreat if that's what you are looking for, the meals looked fab in the evening although we didn't eat evening meal there. Breakfast was lovely. We stayed in Room 102 which was excellently appointed and very spacious.The evening meal was well prepared in enjoyable surroundings.We will be staying again. The "John Smiths" was on this time as well bonus. The rooms were a little bit small but had all the conveniences. Beds were very comfortable. Bar / eating area very clean and breakfast was excellant. Would definately recommend and stay there again. This Hotel was booked as overnight stay after a Wedding Blesing. The staff were fantastic and the room was very comfortable. The Breakfast the next morining was cooked to order, all local produce. The staff were very friendly, good cask ales and high standard food. The hotel room was great and would consider coming again with my wife. Lovely, clean and comfortable. Food very good and service very helpful and friendly. Would stay there again if we are in the area. Wonderful service, very stylish rooms, great bathroom, very clean. Food was great and plenty of choice on the menu. Room 102 is spacious and an ideal base for your stay. The meals are very good and breakfast complements the Hotel. Small but clean comfortable room - good shower. We stayed in room 104 which was very small although the bed was very comfortable.We did look into room 102 which looked very much better and if we stayed again, which is very likely, that will be the room I would request.I was disappointed the John Smith's was not on as that was one of the reasons I booked the Hotel!!. Out the way for what we wanted , when we booked this we thought it was closer to Bawtry where we wanted to visit for a night out, taxis can work out very expensive from there to Bawtry as they charge for coming from Doncaster to collect before taking you to Bawtry. But having said that, this wasn't the Mayflower's fault, more mine for not knowing the area :). Nothing to report. There were no taxi firms actually in Bawtry, therefore nearest firm was from Doncaster town centre, and charged you from there. We did not get any sleep as the overflow was dripping outside our window all night. We could not report it as there are no staff on the premises until the next morning. We reported it to Karen the next morning but we were not apologised to and not sure if anything will be done about it. Room was a little warm. Room 104 is small but the bed was very comfortable and facilities all good. Nothing, enjoyed the whole experience. Staff were a little noisy in the bar after we had gone to bed. The bar is directly under room 102. The overflow is still dripping. Unfortunately, Bar shut after last dinner had left , when it could of stayed open a little longer I feel for all guests . ( give us extra special treatment) . Not enough milk in the room; flashing fairy lights outside the window! Corridor outside the room was very dark until the auto light kicked inn; room above the bar was a bit noisy until the bar closed. The severe all minor points. Nothing. Food was really expensive, had a salad, hardly any chicken in it, bowl full of leaves and cost £12.95 not worth the money, drinks were expensive too @£5.95 for a glass of wine. walking around the building in pouring rain from the accommodation to the bar. N/A. Late check-in and early check-out times. Breakfast finishes quite early, but we were given an extension. Check in time too late. Inn closes too early. Although our room was lovely it was a tad small. Had to go outside to get to room/restaurant as was through a side entrance. No full length mirror and no shavin light in bathroom... Minor niggles. Overpriced in my opinion for a "pub" .
