P1 was such a pleasant surprise. It was the cheapest place I stayed in in Thailand but the most luxurious. The staff were so helpful, even when there were language difficulties they were very friendly and tried to help us. Tanakorn, the manager / owner made us feel really welcome. He checked in with us everyday and went the extra mile by giving us a lift to the bust station when we were leaving. He also drew little maps to help us find our way around town. 所有评语 » If you find better value for money in Thailand I'd be very surprised. I know a lot of them by now (but of course not all of them) and this one stands out. Staff is determined to make the stay perfect, there is always someone around who can speak English. The WiFi problem mentioned by some has been SOLVED. There is now a router on every floor so no connection problems any more (I was on the 5th). A must stay in Phitsanulok if you are looking for a modern comfy place to stay and don't need a poo. What a fantastic place. We had a standard double room A/c it was really big brand new furniture. The staff were really helpful nothing was an effort for them. The lad in particular was a perfect host. It's about 10 mins walk from the train station and 5 mins drive to the bus station. There is a 7/11 just opposite. They have a decent pool table, nice cafe/bar and the food is good as well and reasonable prices. If you are travelling, and fancy a bit of luxury for a low price, visit here. Location: walking distance from Phitsanulok bus station Pub: the hotel as a pub with very nice local bands playing live every night Staff: Tanakorn from P1 House and his team have been really the best hotel team I've ever met. They organised a "birthday" party for my wife, arranging for the band playing "happy birthday" with also a violin player. Moreover, they had us try a delicious Thai cake and also served our dishes in a heart shape. The best!. The room was large. Many TV channels. Good internet connection. Breakfast was value-for-money. The bar was a good place to chill out. Neighborhood provision shops were only a few minutes' away. Bus terminal was only 10 minutes' drive away. Overall, for the rate they charged, I am quite satisfied with the facilities. Calls itself a hostel, but is a hotel by most people's standards. Our private double en-suite is one of the nicest rooms we've stayed in, for only $20 a night (600 baht). Close to bus station for day trip to Sukhothai, but in a nice neighbourhood. Turn right out of hotel for a nice little night market with good food!. The hotel is new,very comfortable,has nice big rooms with modern furniture. The location is great - 10 min walking distance from railway station and 15 minutes to bus station. The staff in hotel is very friendly and eager to help. There is cafe just next to the hotel with very good coffee. The staff speaks very good english and are very good and nice to the people. If you have a problem, they will help you as soon as possible. Also the internet connection was perfect. For this price you can't get a better hotel. Looked really good for the price you pay! I never expected such a nice room for only 500 Baht! Newly renovated, with kingsize bed (also option for two separate beds), flatscreen tv, fridge, nice bathroom. The room was huge and in a thai style very beautiful. The bed was king size and very comfortable. It's a hostel but the room looks more of a hotel. It's close to the train station, which is very useful. Amazing hotel. If you want to feel like at home, you definitely have to stay there! I believe it was the best place we've stayed during our trip through Thailand this time!. The bar next to reception was ok, quite some vintage stuff but none of the staff members speak English, which makes even ordering a coffee become difficult. Ideas for improvement: a computer with internet access for those who don't carry Ipads / smart phones / laptops. Printed maps of the town. Some tour info on trips to Sukothai. Getting the hotel more well known. On arrival and on our way back from Sukothai we struggled with taxi drivers who didn't know where the hotel was - but were helped out by some very friendly English locals. My room faced the street which was very noisy. There was big cockroach in the bathroom. The flow of water in the shower was a bit weak. Quite a few ants in the bedroom one night, although this seems quite common in SE Asia. The internet connection wasn't working on 5th floor,so we had to go to lobby when we needed to use internet. Totally nothing. There was a little problem with wifi connection on our floor, but the staff fixed it pretty fast. Nothing. A little bit noisy the room facing the street for traffic until late at night. Not a problem for me, I slept deep. Lack of wardrobe space, just a couple of hooks on the wall. Noisy, mainly daytime. Noisy. Restaurant staff sometimes very slow and not some service sometimes. No in-room safe. Birds sleep in cables outside the room, very noisy in the morning. Ants in the room invaded our food. Staff english level was insufficient. At the Restaurant, they really pushed us tout order stuff and even brought some drinks and food to the table that we didn't order ! The rooms were decently clean even though there were some small spiders on the ceiling. The receptionist nicely promised us checking out at 2 was ok then we went back to check out, she charged us 200B for overstaying.
