  The view from the villas was lovely and the infinity pool was amazing (and usually deserted). The elevator to take you up and down the hillside was an adventure in itself and not too much of a pain (as you have to wait five minutes at the bottom if you call it when it is at the top).   We stayed at Palita Lodge during the April 2013 Full Moon. The resort is located on the quieter end of the beach, and on nights other than the full moon, its only a short 5 minute walk from all the excitement.   We had one of the garden cottages. I liked the fact that this meant you couldn't really hear neighbours etc when asleep. The private beach was small but nice and quiet. - good location

  Absolutely gorgeous hotel - like a peaceful oasis in the middle of crazy Haad Rin! Such good value for money considering what you get. We had a private standard bungalow which was of a very high standard. Very clean and modern with private balcony and lovely views. 2 pools and a private beach. Only thing I would say is that there are a lot of fa - Lovely location away from the hustle and bustle of Haad Rin. Shuttle service was available but it was no more than a 10 minute walk to the centre. Only a handful of resorts on the small bay meant the beach was quiet and chilled. No passing traffic so it was quiet all the time. Good buffet breakfast. Tokay geckos calling at night were brilliant. The resort on a whole was lovely. Our bungalow was up a few steps but this meant privacy and peace. I would definitely return to here.

  Everything about his hotel was great, couldn't have asked for better service from the friendly staff. Really enjoyed our stay here during the Full Moon Party and the location was perfect. It was a 10-15 minute walk to the main area or you can hire a motorbike for 150 baht a day. The room was fairly good value for money as it was clean and well looked after. The free wifi worked well (in the room and even on the beach). I'd certainly stay there again upon my next visit to the island.

The friendly staff couldn't help enough - esp with booking ferries - nothing too much trouble. They were fast to respond to email for port transfer.
