  We walked into Peace by chance and were delighted to have found such a lovely place. Staff were helpful, location almost perfect, our detached bungalow was wonderful, breakfast a delight and meals plentiful and inexpensive. They even have a "Water Monitor" which we nicknamed Malcolm.   We stayed in a banmai- a little lodge tucked between the trees behind the main hotel. Surroundings were stunning and the room was lovely. Really impressed with how beautiful it was given the good price.   Little hotel, simply bungalowes. Great place to live when you want explore Krabi and surroundings and not only spend time at hotel area. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is long away from the beach, but they have free tuk-tuk. We used it much and children loved it! We had feeling like be their guests at their home. We ate breakfast every morning next to the beach. The views were incredible. We booked trips thru the hotel and everything was professional.   It was a pleasant stay with Mercure Krabi Deevana. It surprise me with a birthday cake in the hotel room after our dinner. We never thought the hotel would be that thoughtful. As for the facilities, we are happy about it even though it is a little bit far from the town(by walking about 10-15min) and from airport is around 30min to reach. Price/quality ratio is very cool, we paid about $65 per night, and the hotel looks like solid 4 stars (~$90-100). The restaurant is ok, but 70% of our dinners we had outside.
