  It was not too crowded so plenty of space by the pool. Beach was lovely. On site shop, splash world (children loved it). Landscaping was relaxing. Safe envirnment, very little traffic.   We stayed at the hotel for one night before moving on to a resort further north at Khao Lak. The hotel is ideally situated a short distance from the airport at Phuket. Even though it is within walking distance, the hotel offers a free airport pickup service. A simple phone call to them and 5 minutes later, they are there to pick you up. Great location (5 minutes from the airport and no noise, 5 minutes walk to national park, 15 minutes lovely walk to very nice beach). Great price/quality: good wifi, clean, very good matrasses (not to hard!!!).

The resort is comfortable, with lovely bungalows and a great pool, and is ideal for the first one/two nights on Phuket before going on to explore other parts of the island, given it's proximity (5-10 minutes) from the airport.   Actually letsbookhotel.com made a mistake and when we arrived at Canal Resort there weren't any rooms left even though we had reserved. The owner was so nice. He took us to his brother's nearby "bungalows" which actually turned out to be a house amidst a rubber tree plantation, and put us up there for the night for the same price as the standard r... 别人怎么说 » oom we had booked. He also had his son (also very nice) take us to the airport in the morning, free of charge. I didn't see much of Canal Resort, but - Resort very close to the Airport and about a 15 minute walk from Nai Yang Beach. It only cost me about $20.00 Cnd and was very new, clean and the bed was comfortable. The Air- conditioning worked great and the bathroom was very clean and new. While it would not be the most convenient for long term stay if you wanted to go to the beach every day, it was a great price for an over night and then to Airport. The staff was great, very accommodating.

  Very clean and nice room, with mini fridge and a big tv. Hotel is located about 200m from the main Nai Yang tourist area which makes it very near to the main restaurant street but is at the same time quiet and separated. Nice staff and also really nice pool. The beach is beautiful, not crowded and almost no waves which makes it perfect for familie... 别人怎么说 » s with small children. Wifi on the lobby is working enough to do some work. Taxi to Patong is about 700 Baht and a motorbike rent for a day 250 Baht. - We chose this hotel to be close to the airport as we needed to fly early in the morning, indeed it is very convenient, it's 5min by taxi!(and surprisingly it's not noisy because of the airport...) On top of that the hotel is new, clean, with good facilities and close to the beach, bars/restaurants and shops (5/10 min walk). Friendly staff.

  If you want a small hotel very close to the airport at a budget price this is good. Whilst very close to airport we heard no aircraft noise. Staff picked us up for free at midnight and were friendly.   We stayed here for four nights at the beginning of our honeymoon in Thailand. the location was perfect as a short five minute taxi ride from Phuket airport. Located at the end of Nai Yang beach so a little away (400m) from main strip of beach side bars and very peaceful.
