  Charles, the owner, was extremely attentive and helpful. He made us most welcome and wanted to make our stay as comfortable and as memorable as possible. He gave us lots of suggestions for places to visit. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The peaceful location was excellent for getting to all the major attractions.   The owner, Jan, was extremely helpful, polite and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. He personally welcomed us to the apartment despite arriving in the middle of the night. He had already put some beers in the fridge for us and sorted our car out for parking.   I certainly recommend this place as an excellent base for exploring the city of Amsterdam, whilst being able to retreat to a nice peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle.
