We found it very easy to get to Amsterdam from here as it was near the train station and the trains came frequently. - The service was excellent, as was the location and convenience.   What a gem! Such a special place, right on a small canal. This is a home from home and I'd recommend staying in Haarlem rather than Amsterdam with children as it's 15 minutes by train into Amsterdam and the same time to the beautiful beach. Haarlem is a mini Amsterdam without the awful crowds and the house was a perfect haven.
