  We slept on a boat - what else can I say? :) Very friendly staff (father and daughter), they helped us with all our questions. Of course the rooms are a bit small (and so was the bathroom), but this was to be expected on a boat. We really loved that it was so well located, everything is reachable by foot.   We loved the location and the fact that it was a boat! We were in Amsterdam and lived the experience of living in a boat! How cool?! Nemo was right there and you have the best view from the top and its free. The staff was very friendly and gave us some helpful tips and gave us maps.   Everything was very good. Comfortable rooms, clean and cosy hotel, really not far from railway station. Personal is very friendly, I have only best ratings for their work. - The cleanliness, location & concept. En suite bathroom. Breakfast and the staff. Would definitely come back to Hotelboat Iris.

  I loved the whole idea of staying on a ship. The location was great as well, just a 5-10 minute walk to the Central Station area. The rate included breakfast which was good, I just wish it started a little earlier because we wanted to get out of the city to head home as early as possible.   It was my first visit to Amsterdam. The boat is next to the centrall station (10 minutes walking) in a really quiet dock!   The place of the boat is excellent, the owner was really lovely and helpful. However don't expect luxury - it's a little boat not a 5 star hotel after all. So the single cabin is really tiny, but clean. And though the breakfast was more than adequate for me, the others might not like it. The bed is around 1mtr from the ground which gives plenty of room underneath it. There is free wifi internet (speed is ok) but its only available in the public area.
