  The staff was so friendly and kind! The room was small but clean and adorable and exactly what I was looking for.   The hotel is in a perfect location - right opposite the Kyoto station. The station itself is an excellent place for shopping and eating. In front of the hotel is the bus station, which has the buses that will take you to all the sights in Kyoto. Basically, the location of the hotel cannot be better.   My stay of 5 nights was a truly lovely experience from arrival to departure, wonderful room design (King, level 2), everything thoughtfully arranged, lots of space to hang and put away clothes and other items, scrupulously clean, spacious shower, a calming room which was a delightful refuge after busy days out.
