  My wife and I have traveled fairly extensively. I am not exaggerating when I say that this was the finest hotel we have ever stayed in. It is certainly possible to find more expensive hotels. But the staff -- and it does make an incredible difference -- was deeply warm and welcoming, and helped us out during a transportation snafu. Ac, Raffaele, and Mar - We had four days in Sorrento and was very happy with our choice in Hotel Regina. My advice would be to choose a room with a full view as the view of the water and Mt. Vesuvius was a delight. The view from the breakfast room is also truly gorgeous, making eating twice as good. There is no restaurant available for other meals but not an issue for us as plenty of little restaurants in Sorrento to choose from. We would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Prior to our arrival they arranged a private van tour of the Amalfi Coast for our group of 8. The rooms were extremely clean.   The building itself and the blue harmony, the wonderful garden, the huge swimming pool with salted water, the beach, the delicious eating and last but not least the quality of service - The views across the bay were excellent. Staff were very courteous. The lunch at the beach restaurant was the best that I had during my whole 2 week stay in Italy!
