  The staff were very pleasant and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent. The hotel is centrally located and all the key parts of Assisi were within easy walking distance. - I had everything I need in my room and nice breakfast included! The room was always clean.   Everything about this place was marvelous. First off, the owners / managers were delightful people and very helpful. Second, the decor was impeccable in every detail, so much care had clearly been given to even the tiniest design choice (like an actual tumbler in the cupholder on the bathroom wall rather than plastic cups). The location was amazing-- just yards from a big parking place on which you get a special rate if you stay at Hotel Bert - This hotel could not be any closer to the local bus station which takes you to the train and back for 1.5 euro each way. This is a 5 minute ride at the most. Unfortunately, I had a sly fox taxi driver bring me to the hotel and he charged me 15 euros. Initially he said 20 euros, but as I had a fit, he reduced the price. I had asked him how much it would be and he said he has a meter. . . Anyway, the lesson here is still persist and ask how much again! So the hotel is actually in an excellent loc

  The photographs do not do the hotel justice. It is not only beautiful but the location is wonderful. The hotel personnel make you feel like family--they are very accommodating and extremely friendly. We had a room with 4 single beds. The room was lovely and roomy and much more attractive than the picture. While this is not an upscale hotel, and everything about it is not perfect, I would not hesitate to stay again. The view from my room was just stunning.   Very good facilities and the best if you are driving it has a parking rigth in front of the Hotel. Satff very good and the restaurant food and service is superv. they provided a 10% discount to Hotel guests. - Charming place, rooms with a great view. Everything was lovely. Great location. Clean and spacious rooms. Highly recommend.
