  The ambience of the hotel, set at the side of Lake Lugano. Our room on the first floor had a large terrace overlooking the lake. The female Romanian receptionist was brilliant and efficient. All the staff were friendly without familiarity and most helpful. It is driving distance to a couple of small towns. There was a flea market in a nearby town. The staff very accommodating. I have severe allergies and they paid careful attention to cleaning the room prior to my arrival. Excellent place, I will stay again!
