  My stay at Giudecca Bella was wonderful, and allowed for a more relaxed and quiet stay in Venice, than staying on San Marco. And the great thing is it is only 2 minutes away from San Marco on the ferry. Very friendly and welcoming, very pretty, and the price is right, particularly for Venice. With the ferry it only takes 2 min. to get over the small channel of Giudecca. The price is perfect as well. Most of the hotels in Venice are really expensive, but here I paid less. Amazing!

  The hotel location is perfect (center of Venice in the nicest area), the room was quite big with air-conditioning and fan. Everything was more than correct for the price we payed for middle of July. Not huge breakfast but correct: good coffe, bread with butter and jam and one cake. The room and the bathro - Probably the nicest place my girlfriend and I stayed at during our trip through Italy. (Admittedly, we were traveling on a budget and mostly renting through airbnb.) This is a true B&B, with Massimo and his wife coming in the morning to make us coffee. They were very friendly, telling us to make ourselves at home and opening up the various cakes and pastries in the kitchen. Venice is expensive, but Ca' Santo Spirito was fairly good value for city.

  This bed and breakfast is very close to the San Basilio port where our ferry docked. It's a good thing the staff on the ferry explained to me that there is no rhyme or reason to the numbering of buildings in Venice, only that it will be in a certain area. Luckily, Casa di Sara was exactly where Google Maps said it would be - also, I had picked up ... 别人怎么说 » a map at the airport when we first arrived, which was helpful. We had booked a room with private bathroom and we ended up having the room with the bat - The staff is very friendly, we loved fresh bread for breakfast)) The B&B is located in a quite area close to St.Barnaba square, though it's not easy to find it since the numbering in Venice is beyond logics)) and the address consists of the name of area and building number. My advice would be to get a detailed explanation before checking in and having a detailed map. There many places to eat around working until late nite.
