We stayed at Villa Cora in July which was a pretty hot season in Florence. And Villa Cora has an amazing pool area which is a huge advantage among the best hotels in Florence. Chill by the pool after a great day at the museums. It's just fantastic. Staff is professional. Food is good. Free shutle bus takes you to the center of Florence and back every 30 minutes. And it is only a 5 minutes drive to the old city, so the location is the best. One of the best hotels we have ever been. And believe .
所有评语 » The weekend spent at Hotel Villa Cora was a great experience. The beauty of the building, the attention to details and privacy you get are good reasons to go back. The services, professionalism and kindness of the staff was something we also enjoyed. The hotel is close enough to the center (if you are not used to always be in the car) and they also offer a shuttle which we took on the way back in the evening. Great stay in a beautiful place. We stayed at the Grand Hotel Villa Cora for 3 nights during our recent trip to Florence. We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel was grand yet at a very quiet location. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast by the pool side is just great. Although the hotel is a little far off the city centre, they provided the shuttle bus to take us down to the city. Our room was a dream. I felt like a princess. The hotel is truely beautiful. Pool area was very nice, beautiful garden. Very good service. A shuttle bus takes you where you want to go . We had 4 lovely days and we will definately be back !. The staff was very attentive to all of our needs. Service, service, service, these three words described Villa Cora. The accommodations had the confort I am used to at home. Thank you. The staff is very friendly, the concierge service - very helpful. The design of the hotel and the view over the city are wonderful. The restaurant also makes a good impression. The hotel was well situated high up and over looking the town. Excellent views first thing in a morning. Only 20 mins walk to centre of the town. Nice heated outdoor pool. The staff was extremely kind, very obliging and they showed true hospitality. The room was very clean. Excellent breakfast!. Best heated pool in Florence, but it needs at least one handrail for secure entry and exit. It is just a detail however important for a 5 star hotel. The spa was beautiful but extremely small…only 4 lounges/beds available. We were already more than 4 people at the same time and it is not very relaxing seeing the others waiting. However, this is something which cannot be changed due to the limited space. You take it or leave it… I personally did not enjoy at all!. Nothing. Very limited breakfast menu especially when the price is €25 per person. The jacussi area is dangerous. My partner came out the shower and slipped on the marble floor and severely injured her lower back on the last day of our holiday. A bit more attention to these slip hazards should be considered. A very basic fitness area. Overpriced buffet breakfast. No handrail at main entrance. American pop music at the pool and restaurant. NO HANDLES OR GRAB BARS IN MARBLE SHOWER. VERY DANGEROUS! Leaks on bathroom floor, slippery. nothing. Only minor details but worth to mention for a 5 star hotel: Service during breakfast was a bit chaotic: napkins forgotten, eggs were not prepared as ordered and not delivered at table. Rather expensive drinks and breakfast, eg one small beer 10e, one Sprits 16e. Tiny bathroom. The food is tasty but for the quantity a bit overpriced, haute cuisine I thought was out of fashion. The barbecue twice a week is highly recommended! Very good !. The lights in the wardrobe was on, need the attention of the hotel maintenance. Nothing that I don't like!. Food can be better. The still blocking £. Barbique at the poolside was a flop. Otherwise we did not try the restaurant. We had a lovely room with a balcony the view is fantastic. We had some very hot days and the pool after along day on our feet was heaven.
