  A very atmospheric converted palazzo with excellent facilities. Room was huge but very comfortable. Despite being right in the historic centre of Ascoli Piceno, it was remarkably quiet.   This was a very good hotel in my one month voyage in Italy. I stayed only one night and overall I was very satisfied with the hotel. The building is a converted palazzo on a quiet street in Ascoli Centro Storico. The room was nicely furnished in a soft modern pastel style.   The house is located on top of a hill in a quiet and green area outside of the old town, but it's very quick to walk into town. Salvatore, the host, is very nice and attentive. The breakfast was very good, with self-grown cherry tomatoes and fresh fruit, beautifully presented and served in the garden.   We rented a one bedroom apartment and it was huge with a full kitchen, living/dining room, very large bath, big bedroom with comfortable beds and a balcony that ran the entire length of the apartment. The balcony could be walked on but was really too narrow for chairs.   The hotel was beautiful although a bit hard to find. I would tell all my best friends about this jewel and keep it secret from everyone else.
