  The location is amazing. We were backpacking as a family, and the central train station is a ten minute walk at most. The 'hotel' is right in the center of the city. The man (Herman) who runs the place is charming, and will ride up on his bike at a moments notice to provide anything you may need. To top it all off, our room had A/C and a bathroom with a big, clean show - The location was great, only a five minute walk from the train station and the "main" Piazza is only a short walk away. The man that runs the place is always very helpful and will do his best to make you feel welcome and appreciated. The room had A/C and was clean, the bathroom was big and very nice. You get your own key to the building and it almost feels like you have your own apartment in the city of Bologna :)

  We arrived at the hotel apartment around 6.30pm, an hour or so later than expected. I called the number of the hotel and a lady came to open up for us. She was very helpful and very pleasant and really couldn't do enough. It is very homely, the apartments were extremely spacious. She showed us 2 apartmen - Wonderful place with fantastic ambiance. Location is fantastic - 5 minutes on foot from 2 towers, lot of restaurants around. Our number was well-designed, with beautiful antique bureau and table and had (apart from the main window) - a little round nice window that made the ambiance in our room really magical! 2 beds were comfortable. The staff, although some of them could have better English, were helpful. The receptionist even printed out a map for us with the directions to the closest bus stop for the Airport shuttle bus.   The ladies at reception were incredibly nice and helpful. The hotel is located just off of the main street close to the main square.   I spent in Bologna 14 days, attending “Master Degree of pulmonary vascular diseases” by Professor Nazzareno Galie, world expert for pulmonary vascular diseases at Bologna University, working in Sant’Orsola-Malphigi hospital.
