The rooms at Ary are great, fitted out for different budgets. Gary is pretty much famous in Candidasa, all the locals know him as Mr. Gary and he is full of stories and useful info, also introducing all the other guests and making sure you don't feel alone if you're travelling solo. He also organised a budget price for me for the Mt. Agung trek and his store has possibly the best Aussie burger in Indo. No space for a pool but the ocean is across the street and there are pools you are able to us.
所有评语 » The Breakfast's here were amazing! Eggs, Bacon, Tomato, Mushrooms, toast and fruit! Tyo and Gary are lovely people and are very knowledgeable about the area and Gary makes sure you are introduced to everyone in the accommodation, we even went out for dinner with Tyo Gary and some of their friends! It feels like a home away from home. Excellent bookswap/library too, top marks from us!. Wow, what a lovely little place to stay...just as we arrived we were welcomed as if part of the family, and it didn't take long to feel like it! Great location, just 10 minutes walk to the temple, lotus lagoon etc. Food downstairs in the Hot Dog Shop was great! Run by an Aussie and his Indonesian wife, you will be part of the family in no time :). Hosts were great: friendly, funny, kind and warm... Breakfast was great :) House is nice, clean, big... It was very nice experience for me and my friend (two females)... Gary and his family are Wonderful people! We were welcomed with a cols beer after a long trip! True hospitality!!! And a superb breakfast!. Gary was very helpful and nice ! The room clean and quiet. The breakfast is just answeone !!! And the burgers too. crazy host ;-) , very familiar, centrally located, cozy rooms, good burgers and breakfast. The staff is excellent, clean rooms, good burgers, good shower with warm water. A very kind and hospitable staff, nice room and good breakfast. friendly owner and staf really big breakfast. good value of money, clean and friendly. All positive. Really Good Breakfast but they charge extra for it, 40.000 for One Person Awesome aussiburgers at garry's Burger Place Cheap laundry Exciting hike to the Top of Mount agung. The breakfast is awesome, really big and good, the owner is nice. Good breakfast Friendly and entertaining owner Sea view. Ary is on the main road through Candidasa so receives a lot of traffic noise. This didn't bother me but it was commented on by others. Never got the end of the story about the coloured roosters out of Gary...oh well, just means we have to go back :). I am not only sure about the location... It is on a main road of Candidasa and close to the beach, which is great, just bare in mind that it is not a white sand beach... But GREAT stay for a budget traveller :). the rooms are neat don't expect luxury though, bathroom is quite small. The fact that there is no real beach around. It is much cheaper to go Directly to the Harbour in padang Bai Youssef and Pay the Tickets for the fast boat yourself. The. It only Costs Arround 215 for One Ride to gili travangan. Hans Takes 300. No Airconditioning Extra Charge for breakfast Noisy Road in Front of the Building, Really loud at Night or in the Morning. loud, just on the main street so very noisy at night. Rooms a bit shabby.
