Swabian cuisine and a large, shady beer garden are offered at this traditional country hotel in Marxheim. It lies in the Altmühltal Nature Park, 600 metres from the River Danube. Individually furnished rooms with flat-screen TVs are provided at the family-run Landsteakhaus. All rooms are non-smoking and include a private bathroom. Wi-Fi is available for a daily fee. Steaks and regional specialities are served in the Steakhaus Restaurant. Guests can also dine in the cosy Koppelbar, which is located in a large wooden hut and features a rustic fireplace. Located directly on the Danube Cycle Path, the Landsteakhaus Marxheim is ideal for hiking and cycling. The hotel offers horse-drawn carriage rides and fishing permits.

Staff were very helpful and friendly and were keen to please. The beds were comfortable, the shower was hot and the room was reasonably large and quiet. If you like a great steak , then you must try the downstairs restaurant. Superb steak meal with buffet salad for a very reasonable price. Nice place if you are with a car. Nice restaurant under the hotel. Good value for money! There is a very good restaurant!.
