We had a studio apartment and it worked out well. We were able to buy a few breakfast items, snacks, and beverages. We weren't aware of the lack of an airconditioner as it wasn't necessary in the spring weather. Very conventiently located near the Central Station, but also near the Reichstag, Friedrichstrasse (shopping) and Brandenburger Tor. Close to the S- and U-Bahn. Eventhough it was so close to the trainstation, we didn´t hear the trains inside. Quick check in and check out and nice service in the bar when we had a drink there one night. We didn´t take breakfast in the hotel as there are so many spots around to have breakfast or lunch.
