We stayed for one night only, the service was excellent and the friendly staff were attentive to all our needs.
A nice touch was the free train travel voucher they give you to explore Freiberg, the station being a five minute walk from the hotel, with regular half hour trains to the city centre taking about 10-12 mins.

excellent room and breakfast. Run by lovely helpful couple Ensured we had a special pass allowing us to travel around area on trains a buses, as far as Basel for FREE.V useful for visiting wine fairs and Freiburg. We did not get chance to eat in restaurant but apparently our host is a well known local chef. However when we arrived back late requesting only a snack they produced a delicious Flamkuchen which they need not have done and was much appreciated.
