  I was there to attend a performance at the Festspielhaus and the location was perfect for that adn teh old town.   Friendly staff, traditional Bavarian decor and uniform, very close to the railway station but only a short walk to the centre, excellent breakfast buffet without the usual irritating music in the background, which for me is a rare and very welcome occurrence. - The staff were friendly.

  everything was fine - I originally booked a double room when my friend was intending on coming along. It was nice that the hotel clerk was willing to let me change to a single room and save a bit of money.
